The excellent characteristics of extruded board

  (1) High performance of thermal insulation  The extruded board has good thermal insulation performance.it has great significance to building thermal insulation and energy saving. Extruded board has the characteristics of high thermal resistance, low linearity and low expansion rate, which is inseparable from its own structure, and its structural closure rate reaches 99%. With this structure, the water absorption, steam permeability and thermal conductivity of the extruded board are lower than those of other board thermal insulation materials, and the compressive strength is high. Therefore, it has excellent thermal insulation performance, good water resistance and high compressive performance. It is widely used in roof insulation system, cold storage, internal and external insulation of wall.

  (2) It is easy to realize flame retardant and has stable flame retardant effect.  Flame retardant is the basic requirement for the safety of building thermal insulation materials. For extruded board, it is easy to achieve flame retardant effect, just add flame retardant in the production process. 

 (3) Good stability and corrosion resistance.  Extruded board will not age and decompose after long-term use.Even if the extruded board is used for 30 ~ 40 years, it can still maintain excellent performance, will not decompose and mildew, and there will be no volatilization of toxic substances. 

 (4) Light weight and high strength.  The insulation layer is not a load-bearing wall. The lighter the texture, the more popular it is. It has high strength ,so it is not easy to break. 

 (5) Excellent waterproof performance  Water absorption of special extruded board is an important parameter to measure thermal insulation materials. After absorbing water, the thermal insulation performance of the thermal insulation material will decline. At low temperature, the absorbed water is easy to freeze and destroy the structure of the thermal insulation material, so as to reduce the compressive strength and thermal insulation performance of the plate. Because the molecular structure of polystyrene itself does not absorb water, the molecular structure of the plate is stable and there is no gap, which solves the problems of water leakage, water seepage, frost and condensation of other materials.
